SAVIGNY 1ER CRU "Aux Gravains" 2020

Tasting comments:

- Beautiful dark red color with bluish reflections

- Rich and complex aromatic palette ranging from blackcurrant buds to cherry pits and currants

- Palate with a well-present tannic structure

Aging potential: 5 to 8 years Wine pairings: red meat in sauce / very mature cheeses

The Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru “Aux Gravains” from the Domaine du Lycée Viticole de Beaune comes from a 54-acre plot, owned by the Hospices Civils de Beaune. Vinification is done in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with semi-automated punching down.

Cold pre-fermentation maceration then alcoholic fermentation are carried out for a period of 15 days. The wine is then aged for 9 months in oak barrels in our cellars.
